Transportation Advisory Committee
(TAC)
The Transportation Planner works with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) District 10 office on a number of areas to enhance the region's transportation needs. A Transportation advisory committee (TAC) meets quarterly to help identify those needs and plan regional activities. The Transportation Planner also helps communities measure their traffic volume with the use of two electronic counters.
The Transportation Planner also helps communities with grant application assistance in the areas of enhancement and innovative financing for roadway improvements.
